Crios was an NPC arena wizard in Prodigy Math Game. He was the strongest student in the coliseum.

Appearance[]

Crios had the "Spikes" hairstyle, now known as hairstyle 17. He had red eyes, and fair skin (skin tone 2). His face style was the style "Upbeat," or the default male wizard face. He wore the outfit Sun's Embrace and wields a Phoenix Talon.

In-Game Description[]

"Crios is by far the most gifted student the Academy has ever seen. He has never lost a duel, and at least 20 students a year leave because of him. And now he challenges you."

Trivia[]

  • He was the main arena wizard at the Academy and the top CPU arena challenger.
  • A strange thing was that Crios wields the Phoenix Talon and not the Staff of the Duelist, probably because it's because he classifies the Staff of the Duelist as an "extremely valuable artifact that didn't deserve to be used in 'mundane combat'."
  • You must be level 95 or higher to challenge Crios because level 95 is the minimum level to fight him.
  • There was an achievement called "Fall of Crios," which you could get by defeating him in battle. You ranked up in the achievement every time you beat one of the wizards.
  • His pets were an Embershed and Infernewt. In the old Prodigy, he had the full evolution team, when wizards could equip 4 pets.
  • Although five levels are higher than the previous arena wizard, Nova, he had slightly less health than her. This is because, while their robes, the Angelic Shroud and the Sun's Embrace, both have a heart bonus of four, Nova's Winged Helm also has a four heart bonus, and Crios wears no hat.
  • Crios once owned the Firebrand wand, but he tossed it away when he came into the Academy, calling it "weak."
  • In an arena update on May 20, 2021, he was removed along with the rest of the training wizards.
